Welcome to the Blog Bandwagon

Productivity Press Lean Insider

Another new addition to the online lean world — a blog at Productivity Press. It’s written by Ralph Bernstein, the former editor of the Lean Manufacturing Advisor newsletter.

Here is a story they posted about an $11 million dollar mistake that should have been errorproofed. This chemical plant had a two week shutdown due to someone hitting a line stop button. A bit different than pulling the andon at Toyota, eh? It’s more likely that the company is looking for “who” to blame (or is it “whom?”) rather than “why” that happened.

Welcome to the blog world, Ralph. Good luck!
