It's a double reader letter day… I was asked, by a healthcare professional, about where she could find Lean Healthcare conferences.
I'll share my list and links below, both the events focused on Lean Healthcare as well as those with a strong Healthcare track (as part of a broader event). Some of the events may also feature Six Sigma content. What else would you add? Leave a comment…
Disclaimers: I may have spoken, for a fee or as a volunteer, for some of these events in the past. I was also formerly an employee of the Lean Enterprise Institute.

If you’re working to build a culture where people feel safe to speak up, solve problems, and improve every day, I’d be glad to help. Let’s talk about how to strengthen Psychological Safety and Continuous Improvement in your organization.

The IHI National Forum on Quality Improvement is outstanding. They do not dedicate a track to lean, however, overall the caliber of presentations is very high.
Yes, I should have included them… they didn’t fit into one of the two categories I carved out, but the 2010 event had A LOT of lean content and discussion, from Dr. Berwick on down.
