Here is a fun clip of Dr. Atul Gawande on Stephen Colbert's Comedy Central show, talking about his book The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right, now available in paperback. In his host schtick, Colbert asks Gawande why he wants to make people “anal” and that if people learn from their mistakes, and he doesn't want people to make mistakes, then why doesn't he want people to learn? Yup, Colbert, Atul Gawande is a very bad man. ;-)
