Good Lean Plants to Tour Near Atlanta?

I got an email from a Plant Manager near Atlanta who is looking for a nearby lean plant to tour:

“I have toured the Toyota plant in Georgetown, KY on 3 different occasions. I have also toured other plants that have had successes with Lean & TPM strategies but not had any make as impactful of an impression as the Georgetown facility.

Our plant here, just East of Atlanta, has been rolling out a comprehensive Continuous Improvement program that leverages most of the common Lean/TPM strategies including AM Work Teams. We would like to take certain representatives form our AM work teams through the Toyota Georgetown facility for education, motivation and recognition of their successes. However, we are about a 6 hour drive from Georgetown. I was wondering if you knew of any plant tours here in this area that may be similarly beneficial to us but closer.”

If you know of a good plant to tour, please leave a comment here. Or you can email me if you can volunteer a tour or an exchange or tours and I'll put you in touch.
