Today, I'm sharing a video and an update about this event that I'm helping organize in central Texas, September 26 and 27, 2018:
Symposium on Learning Organizations: Agile, Lean, Deming, and More
I've blogged about this previously:
Lean Learning Opportunities in Texas and Japan – Toyota is the Common Thread, One Has Whiskey
This unique learning and collaboration event is capped at a max of 40 people — and we're at 25 so far.
We have people representing industries including:
- Manufacturing
- Software
- City government
- Healthcare
- Financial services
We have doctors, engineers, developers… a “Lean Lawyer” from Montreal (listen to my podcast with David and his Lean Lawyer wife, Karen). It's going to be a very diverse group with a lot to learn from each other. We have people traveling in from across the country (and beyond!), so I hope you'd consider joining us.
Here is a new video I made about the event:
We still have room for you to join us. Register today.

Let’s work together to build a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety. If you're a leader looking to create lasting change—not just projects—I help organizations:
- Engage people at all levels in sustainable improvement
- Shift from fear of mistakes to learning from them
- Apply Lean thinking in practical, people-centered ways
Interested in coaching or a keynote talk? Let’s start a conversation.
Our event is sold out and full at a group of 40! We’re now building a waiting list through the registration link above.
I credit the cowboy hat for us selling out :-)
