Lean thinking really does work

Thanks to Rob, from the UK, for pointing me toward this article. Lean “dull and vaguely unpleasant?” Never! Lean and healthcare, especially non-dull.

AS DEFINITIONS go, it sounds dull and vaguely unpleasant. But healthcare is being transformed by “lean thinking”, a way of improving performance defined as “removal of waste and optimisation of whole processes”.
