Toyota growing slowly, surely into NASCAR contender

It will be interesting to see if Toyota can apply rapid continuous improvement cycles to building winning NASCAR cars after starting in the truck series:

“‘It was very easy for us to kind of apply the Toyota production system model to building trucks and building tooling and making it more of a production-type system where we can build a lot of them, can build them very consistent, very high-quality, and cut a huge amount of cost.'”
