More reasons to get our factories lean in the U.S. Sure, labor is cheap in China, but do we really want to support and condone working conditions like this? We can be competitive by using lean (and treating our employees/associates much more humanely). Another interesting book to read on this topic is China Inc. by Ted Fishman, recommended reading.
