Kaizen Your Life?

This reminds me of a classmate who used to joke about the need to “PDCA your life”. This article actually uses the word “kaizen” and references a psychologist who thinks its the right way for many people to address personal issues like overeating, overspending, etc. The doctor even claims that it's human nature, due to a part of the brain called the “amygdala”, to resist “major change coming from anger or frustration.” What do you think? Link to the doctor's book and the original Masaaki Imai classic on Kaizen.
