Throwback Thursday: I Was Lucky To Survive This Taxi Ride

Screen Shot 2016-02-14 at 7.37.09 PMToday and tomorrow, I’m going to be at the annual Society for Health Systems conference in Houston. I’m doing the Deming Red Bead Experiment today and I’m participating in a panel discussion tomorrow. If you’re here, please say hello!

Last week, I flew into Cincinnati to speak at a health system in the area and I was reminded of this blog post from 2011:

Said the Unsafe Taxi Driver, “Well, Did I Hit Anybody?”

I still can’t believe that all happened and that I caught some of it on video.

Das letzte TaxiThis last time, instead of taking my chances with a Cincinnati cab driver, I drove myself in a rental car. I did this for a number of reasons, including still being traumatized by the previous experience with the unsafe cab.

Back to the topic of healthcare, I’ll probably blog about the SHS conference and some highlights, either tomorrow or Monday, so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading! I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please scroll down to post a comment. Click here to receive posts via email.
