As a previous keynote speaker at this event, and as a friend and colleague of KaiNexus CEO Dr. Greg Jacobson, I was very excited to learn that he will be one of the keynote speakers at next week's event.

It's the Healthcare Systems Process Improvement conference, as presented by the Society for Health Systems (which is part of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers).

You can still register if you can join us for the event, which will be held just north of Atlanta.

I'll be there, leading and facilitating an “intensive” session on psychological safety, problem-solving, and learning from mistakes.

You can listen to Greg and me talking about the keynote in this episode of my Lean podcast:

You can watch the episode or read about it here.

Greg was also featured in the latest IISE Magazine, and you can read that here for free:

What's Your Story? With Greg Jacobson

There, you can read Greg's answers to these questions:

  • What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare?
  • When did you first realize healthcare processes need to be improved for better patient outcomes?
  • Tell how you came to start KaiNexus and describe its mission.
  • What are a few of the key changes and advancements you see on the horizon for healthcare in the next few years?
  • What do you hope to pass along in your keynote speech and also learn from the professionals at HSPI?
  • In your experience, how do such conferences help healthcare pros share ideas and make connections?
