Coming in February: Author Dan Pink on “My Favorite Mistake” and “The Power of Regret”
Long-time listeners of my Lean Blog Interviews podcast will remember my interview with the NY Times best-selling author Daniel H. Pink back in 2010:
There, we talked about his fantastic book Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us.
When I heard about his next book, to be released on February 1st, I had to ask him to be a guest on “My Favorite Mistake.” His next book is The Power of Regret: How Looking Backward Moves Us Forward.
We recorded that episode today and the episode will be available right after his book is released.
To make sure you don't miss it, subscribe to (aka follow) My Favorite Mistake.
If you pre-order the book, you can attend a special thank you event with Dan:
“Don't forget to forward your receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org to get exclusive access to the thank you event.”
In the episode, Dan tells his “favorite mistake” story involving the power of mentorship. We discuss how mistakes (an action) often leads to regrets. But, his research shows that “inaction regrets” (regret over something we didn't do) are more common and can be powerful as well.
I'm excited about the book and I hope you'll check it out, as Dan's books never disappoint.Note: Comments have been turned off for the time being to try to shut down excessive spam/bot traffic to the site.
