Absolutely hilarious… last Thursday's “30 Rock” features Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) talking about how he's a:

“Six Sigma Black Belt Ultra… with the groin branding to prove it.”

To which, the new boss from their new owner Kabletown asks,

“What's Six Sigma? A rock band?”

    • Maybe us Lean folks are jealous that 30 Rock isn’t mocking us… but maybe that will come, since GE is getting deeper into Lean in recent years. But on 30 Rock, NBC is no longer part of GE (as in real life), so the Jack Donaghey character likely wouldn’t get more training in Lean or Six Sigma.

      Jack does spend a fair amount of time at the “gemba” (with the actors and the set) and he does “coach” Liz Lemon quite a bit.
