The Lean Force Awakens: Star Wars Memes & A Gemba Walk with Yoda

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on Thursday. I'm not the world's most avid fan of the Star Wars series, although I grew up with the toys. I remember seeing The Empire Strikes Back in a theatre, but I think I was too young to see the first in the series. So, I saw the series out of order (eventually catching up on VHS and seeing the re-releases in theaters).

I know many of you are excited and have pre-ordered tickets (you can also pre-order the 3rd edition of Lean Hospitals, by the way).

On the Star Wars theme, the KaiNexus blog has a funny post:

A Gemba Walk with Yoda: What Can We Learn?

Which includes a good tip for Lean and problem solving:

You must unlearn what you have learned. Do not assume anything Obi-Wan. Clear your mind must be if you are to discover the real villains behind this plot.” – Yoda

Also, there are many fun Star Wars memes in my LeanMemes.com collection.

Hopefully, this is a fun way to start the week…

  1. Lol, thanks for this. I AM an avid Star Wars fan and Darth Vader being dissappointed in the lack of standard work will now adorn the door to my office :)

    Cheers
