More on the TV show "How It’s Made"

I watched some Tivo-ed episodes of the Science Channel (part of the Discovery Channel family of networks) show “How It's Made.” The show is pretty informative, showing how things like screw caps are made (the sheer production volume of some of these products is pretty amazing).

But, the show really focuses on automation and high-speed production. The show doesn't give the same kind of focus on and affection for the employees of these companies, as does John Ratzenberger's (yes, Cliff from Cheers) show “Made in America.”
