Our guest today for Episode #75 is Peter T. Ward, a professor at Ohio State University's Fisher College Business and Chair of the Department of Management Sciences.

wardProfessor Ward is a leading expert in lean management and is president of the Lean Education Academic Network. His research has been published in a number of journals, including Decision Sciences, Journal of Operations Management and Production and Operations Management.

He is research director for the Center for Operational Excellence, associate editor of the Journal of Operations Management and Decisions Sciences. Among other distinctions, he serves as a judge for Industry Week's Best Plants program.

In this podcast, we talk about efforts to standardize and improve formal education about lean in universities and other academic settings.
