    1. If these plants in Mexico are shipping back to the states then how could the companies be awarded a prize for being lean. If the prize is going to only look at how lean you are internally and not how lean you are at the enterprise level are we not missing the boat

    2. The criticisms of the Shingo Prize and its criteria (giving prizes to failing businesses) are well documented here and on other blogs.
