Upcoming Webcasts & Webinars – #Lean Healthcare, KaiNexus, and More

Hey everyone… I'm doing a few different webinars or webcasts in the next few weeks.

But first, while I'm promoting stuff, Amazon has a GREAT deal on the pre-order of the 3rd edition of my book Lean Hospitals, which is supposed to be available in June. The cover price is going to be $49.95, but you can pre-order a paperback right now for $29.97. Or, you can pre-order a signed copy from me.

Here are the links to the webinars and such:

Ask Us Anything! Episode #6: 4/12

Tomorrow, April 12, at noon central, Dr. Greg Jacobson, CEO of KaiNexus, and I will be doing another 30-minute “Ask Us Anything” live video cast through the Blab.im platform.

If you can't access Blab at work, a recording is available through YouTube. If you can't access YouTube at work… maybe you can watch it at home (or listen to it as an audio podcast).

Here is the recording:

Webinar with Michael Lombard: 4/19

lombardYou might know my friend Michael Lombard from his guest post that he wrote for this blog last year: “Guest Post: The Kaizen / Kata Nexus.” I was about to say you'd also know him from a podcast episode, but we haven't done one together. I'll rectify that soon enough.

Michael has been very active in the Toyota Kata and healthcare communities, so you might know him from other work.

He did do a webinar for KaiNexus last year on that same “Kata / Kaizen” topic.

He's going to follow that up with a webinar next Tuesday about “A Lean Management System Supported By KaiNexus.

Michael is a very sharp guy and he'll have a lot of good stuff to share next week, so click here to register. Even if you're not interested in our KaiNexus software, you'll learn a lot from Michael and what his organization is going across multiple healthcare sites.

Here is the recording and slides:

Live Podcast with Joe Murli: 4/28

murliAfter experimenting with a podcast (#235 with Sam McPherson) that was a live video broadcast (which was then recorded and shared the usual ways), I'm going to do this again with my friend and fellow LEI faculty member, Joe Murli. We'll be talking about Lean leadership and Lean management systems.

Click here to be notified about the podcast by Blab.im, the platform we are using. You don't need an account there to view the live stream or recording, but you do need an account to interact with us during the interview and podcast.

Note – this was rescheduled from April 21st. We also weren't able to do the session on 4/28 due to some tech problems on Joe's end. We will reschedule, but here's me babbling at the camera:

Lean for MDs – Webinar with Dr. Jack Billi: 5/3

billiDon't forget my upcoming American Medical Association (Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement) webinar with Dr. Jack Billi from the University of Michigan:

Check out the archive page that has the slides and the audio recording.

Transforming care: The value of Lean for physicians

It was held on May 3, 2016.

This video has audio of a pre-webinar discussion that Jack and I recorded with Stephen Davidow, the webinar host:
