Excellent Continuous Improvement Video from Nemours Health System

This video was uploaded to YouTube in the middle of 2012, but I just got tipped off to it. It's an 11-minute video from Nemours, a children's health care system.

Watching this video that provides an overview of their improvement approach might be a nice way to end the week (unfortunately, it was removed from YouTube… but might reappear).

    • Thanks, Mike, for the video and the suggestion box story.

Classic suggestion box dysfunctions. That’s one reason I’m part of the team at KaiNexus. The “suggestion box” is carried around with everybody in their iPhone (or the nearest web browser… or even by sending a quick email). Our technology makes it easier to capture ideas so they aren’t forgotten.

It still requires leaders to be involved and for people to take action. Collecting ideas isn’t enough, of course… our software helps connect everyone to make improvement happen and make improvement easier.

  1. Hi Mark,

Thank your for sharing the link to the Nemours video. I am curious to watch the video, but apparently the link is not working (anymore). Can you help? (I did find their YouTube channel and found several video’s. However, I am not sure whether I found the video you posted).

Thanks and see you at the Lean Healthcare Summit in Orlando.

    Best regards, Anton
