Thanks to my friend and admired colleague Bob Emiliani for being a Lean Blog sponsor for yet another year (this is his third year).
I hope LeanBlog readers have been looking at his creative ads in the right sidebar that change each week (usually on Saturdays). We have a “Lean” process (I think) where Bob updates the ads himself. They are educational, funny, and sometimes a bit over the top (as I’ve told him once or twice, as the ads are a surprise I look forward to each week). Click here to view a video montage of Bob’s 2012 ads.
Bob published three e-books in 2012: We Can Do It!, about Lean in higher education; Lean IS Healthcare, how Lean itself (done right) has physical and mental health benefits to people working in organizations; and Kaizen Heart and Mind (Volume 2), a collection of his twice-monthly 2012 Lean Leadership News articles. I hope you will read these new offerings, as well as his other great books.
Bob also was the lead author of a fascinating new paper, “Music as a Framework to Better Understand Lean Leadership“. You have to read it if you have any interest at all in Lean leadership.
Finally, check out Bob’s online Lean leadership training course. It is based on his original research and is a condensed version of the Lean leadership course he began teaching to graduate students way back in 2000.
