Weekend Fun: Lean Memes Contest

Want to win a copy of one of my books (Lean Hospitals or Healthcare Kaizen). Or some other book(s) from Amazon, up to a $25 value? Can you create a funny internet image?

If so, Enter the LeanBlog “Lean Memes” contest, running through September 13.

Back in March, I discovered some funny “Lean Memes,” including a 5 Whys parody of the Dos Equis “most interesting man in the world,” which I blogged about. I never really shared them on the blog, just via Twitter, but I created some of these, as did Christina Kach and others, and the new Lean Memes were collected on this blog I created (if you want laughs or inspiration).

If somebody has good “standardized work” for how to create a meme picture (it's pretty easy), let me know in the comments.

A few tips:

  • If you're not really familiar with creating a meme picture… you're just adding words to an existing picture. It's easy.
  • You can right-click and save the picture to your computer for uploading via the contest page, or you can email me the URL of the page or image.
  • Be funny.

What do you think? Please scroll down (or click) to post a comment. Or please share the post with your thoughts on LinkedIn – and follow me or connect with me there.

  1. Mark, I had an issue with just sending the URL – the form wouldn’t let me submit unless the field for uploading a file was completed. I saved a copy of the image and sent it over, but that’s something that could use a little PDCA. :D

    Thanks!
