  1. I particularly like the illustration of successive PDSA cycles and continued TESTING as you spread an idea (like a new discharge form) to new areas or bigger areas. Dr. Lloyd emphasizes LEARNING through each cycle.

    This is a far different approach than the “rollout” of a new “best practice.” People often complained they are “rolled over” when this is attempted.

    Lean should really incorporate this mindset if you’re going to call it “lean.”
