You might be aware of the “Lean For Haiti” fundraising project that I have been leading and garnering support for. We are making a free PDF available – the journal written by Russell Maroni about his volunteering experience in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, asking people to donate to Friends of the Orphans, which runs orphanages in Haiti and Central America.
Russell’s journal is now available as an inexpensive Amazon Kindle book, to make it easier for those who want to read it in that format: After the Haiti Earthquake: A Healthcare Missionary’s Personal Journal.
I’m going to run a little “Twitter contest” to help promote the eBook – you might win a free copy of the Kindle book and I will throw in a $20 Amazon gift card.
So, here’s how to win:
- Follow both @LeanBlog AND @Lean4Haiti on Twitter (if you are not already following these accounts)
- Send out a tweet that includes exactly this text:
- I’ve entered to win a free @Lean4Haiti Kindle book & $20 Amazon gift card from @LeanBlog http://leanblog.org/H – pls RT!
- Your tweet MUST contain all of the text above to be considered an eligible entry. And, again, you MUST be following both @LeanBlog and @Lean4Haiti to be eligible to win.
That’s it. All you have to do is Tweet and you might win the Kindle version and a $20 Amazon e-Gift Certificate by email. To read a Kindle version, you do NOT need a Kindle device – you can read it through free software and apps, as well.
The winner will be announced on LeanBlog.org on Friday January 21 and via Twitter.
