Weekend Fun: Depiction of the Lack of Hospital “5S”

One wouldn't expect to find a depiction of a hospital setting with poor “5S” practices on the show Family Guy – of course, depending on your personality and sense of humor, you might not expect to find anything of value there.

Below is a short clip from an episode – it's obviously over the top and not designed as any sort of Lean lesson, but this is still a fun clip that illustrates, in an extreme case, what happens when things aren't where they are “supposed to be.” This could be the result of inconsistent workplace organization (a lack of 5S) or from changes made during a 5S initiative that are poorly communicated to staff…

Anyway, it's just a silly, fun video for the weekend:
