When I first discovered this (via an automated Google alert), I thought it was a case of internet piracy. But, after some checking with my publisher and the company, it turns out to be legit.
The PDF has some security and DRM protection around it, I know that’s a deal breaker for some. I haven’t purchased the file to see if it would work on the Kindle. I assume it would not, but you can buy the Kindle version of Lean Hospitals: Improving Quality, Patient Safety, and Employee Satisfaction via Amazon.
So, maybe this is an option that works for some. It’s certainly about half the price of the paperback version and the Kindle editions.
If somebody tries this, please give a review on how well this works or doesn’t work – can you print the book or is it only readable on your computer.
Click on the image below or the “buy” button up top to go to the DocStoc site.
For those who have asked about audio book versions, I would LOVE to do one, but that’s controlled by the publisher (Productivity Press) and the rights holder to the book (my former employer, Johnson & Johnson).
