I was again brought in for somewhat last-minute guest again on Karl Wadensten’s radio show “The Lean Nation” last Thursday. You can click here for the direct MP3 file download or you can stream it via the link on this page. Instructions for subscribing to the podcast via RSS can be found here, too.
From the show synopsis:
Lean Nation favorite, Mark Graban of the Lean Enterprise Institute, hits up the phone lines this time for yet another informative discussion on Lean Health Care. Oh, Mark and Karl talked during breaks via Skype, too. These guys just can’t get enough Lean!…
We chatted about topics including the upcoming book from LEI: On the Mend: Revolutionizing Healthcare to Save Lives and Transform the Industry, having a sense of purpose with Lean and the workplace, and my time at the Shingo Prize conference and my discussions with Dr. Stephen Covey and Ritsuo Shingo (I’m going to blog about my talk with him, soon).
It’s always a lot of fun to chat with Karl and I think that led to a good hour of radio. Karl asked me toward the end about my job title, what the heck a “Senior Fellow” is anyway!
Links to other things we talked about:
- Norman Bodek
- Gwendolyn Galsworth and her new book, “Work That Makes Sense“
- Lean Healthcare Transformation Summit – Orlando, June 9 and 10
I hope can take a listen and share your thoughts here on the comment section, below.
