Lean.org’s Connection Finder

Connection Finder – beta

I wanted to point out this Lean networking resource, if you haven’t seen it. The Lean Enterprise Institute has a “Connection Finder” that allows you to find other Lean professionals by location or specialty.

I often get questions about “how do I find a Lean factory to tour in Chicago?” This website is a good way of contacting folks who have volunteered to be reachable through this format. Just don’t spam anyone trying to sell consulting or, worse, software.

The “Connection Finder” a great initiative of the Lean Enterprise Institute.

At XING (a German-based business network) there is also a special interest group on “Lean Thinking” (http://www.xing.com/net/lean) with about 1.300 members.

These are also searchable (if you are member of the network, basic functions is free of charge).

Why not combine the different networks around different countries, branches, languages in order to bring LEAN THINKING forward in the world?

What do you think?

Ralf
