Kaizening the Lean Blog

In the spirit of continuous improvement… I took the book recommendations off of the bottom of the left hand column. I was suspecting that the amazon links were slowing page loads, too much overhead. Are you seeing faster page loads?

For now, I've set up a very simple web page with the book recommendation list. This format, non-blog, will allow me more flexibility in arranging the recommendations and listing a few notes about each book. It's linked to in the left hand column below one amazon link to the Hitchhiker's Guide to Lean.

Ron, from the Lean Six Sigma Academy, emailed me last week with a small kaizen opportunity — the links at the bottom of the post here, there was no space between the | and “Podcast.” No improvement too small!

Any other kaizen suggestions for the site, while we're at it?
