Research into the link between Lean and HR: new survey
by Jamie Flinchbaugh, Lean Learning Center
As you may have noticed, we have found the topic of how the HR organization supports lean transformation horribly underexplored. We have begun to explore it while resisting overusing the “our experience is…” filter. We have tried to approach this with sound and broad research into which practices are truly more supportive of the lean journey. We wrote about it for Target Magazine with this article.
A second round of research has begun, lead by Dr. Monica Tracey at Oakland University. This is meant to dive a little deeper into the details, as well as test a much larger sample size of companies. It will be accompanied by interviews of HR organizations of known lean successes. We would appreciate your help in taking a few minutes to complete this survey. Please click here for the survey, and thank you for your help.

This survey should be an "eyeopener" for HR management;-(
Where will it be found on the internet? I would be greatly interested in it.
Cheers,
Ralf
It is an eyeopener. Many HR professionals wish to contribute to the lean efforts but don't know how.
We will publish the results in various formats depending on what we find, but links to anything will be found here on the lean blog.
