By Jamie Flinchbaugh, Lean Learning Center
Mark and I have decided to issue a challenge to the readership of this blog to find the best examples of Everyday Lean. This is a topic that has been written about frequently on this blog, a topic started by contributor Luke Van Dongen. You can read previous Everyday Lean posts by following this link. Everyday Lean items are things that you find outside of work that illustrate lean concepts (or sometimes a lack thereof).
The winning contributor will win a free signed copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Lean: Lessons from the Road.
Here are the rules. Submit your examples using this form. You will have until the end of May for your submissions. You may submit as many ideas as you like. We will post each idea on the blog anonymously and select the final winner at the end. Each example must be how lean is applied, or can be, to help solve or improve everyday stuff, whether it is email or your kitchen or travel. The winner will be selected by LeanBlog.org founder Mark Graban and myself, and a copy of the book with then be mailed. You need to provide your name and email address when submitting your idea, but will not post your name or email nor use it in any way.
Ready…set…go!
