Here is the first installment of a new column that appears in Assembly Magazine, written by Jamie Flinchbaugh of the Lean Learning Center. Jamie writes about the importance of "lean thinking" and the power of that, as compared to and in addition to "lean tools."

Jamie also has a new book out, co-written with Andy Carlino, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Lean. I'm about halfway through the book and will post a review and a Q&A with Jamie in the near future.
